The Frog Cycle is a star book showcasing the different stages in the life of a frog - from egg, to tadpole, going through metamorphosis, to becoming a frog. Sewn into the backs of the folded image pages are signatures containing written information about each life stage. A star book can be extended almost like an accordion, flipped like a regular book, or folded around into the star shape. The ribbon can tie it closed, to keep it in star formation.

I created a box for the book to reside in when its not being admired. The box is created from bookboard, hot glue, faux plants, decorative papers, and my own handritten label.
